How Much Are The Cheapest Bike Shop Bikes?

How much do the cheapest bikes in bike shops cost, and what type of bikes are they usually?
Also are these cheaper bikes worth the money still?
I know it depends on the location and shop etc, but if anybody could give me an estimate that would be great, thanks.

    around me, the cheapest that they will sell a bmx bike is 300 if its on sale and the bikes are STILL good. mainly all of the brands will have atleast one bike that low but not always. if you are looking for a bike that cheap i would highly recommend the kink launch. if you are smaller than 5ft 5in than i would go with the fit trl 1 18′ bike. you can check it out on http://www.danscomp.com.

    The lest expensive bike is usually the low end mountain bike. They usually start out at $350. You can check out the manufacturer’s web site, sometimes they post the MSRP.
