What Is The Best One To Buy?

Im looking to get a good digital camera with all the features of a SLR camera, like shutter speed ect. I want something under $280. Im thinking of getting the Kodak 1012, which is only about $240 from B&H, and which has mostly everything i need, but i wanna see what other camera’s are out there to comparison shop.
Any suggestions?

    I suggest getting a real DSLR. My favorite pick for the people on the budget is a used D40 with a 18-55mm VR kit lens. You’ll be amazed at how much VR really helps keep your pictures sharp.
